At all of these places, expect prices to be very high due to 1) Pacific Cigar's monopoly distributorship for Cuban cigars and 2) Thai import and excise taxes.

Yeah my friend is addicted to cigars and bought a few boxes for near 20,000 Baht at Whisgars. He earns well so wasn't too concerned but I was thinking I am glad I don't have that habit. They were of Dominican origin just to add some detail.

The Dominicans are often as good as the Cubans. Nicaragua/Honduras rarely. 10 years ago, I could get a box of five Partagas panatelas, at Dusit-Thani for 520 thb...less than 3 us per stick then....Probably closer to 1000 thb now.....I don't know exactly when they snuck the big tax increase in....but it just sucks. Might be time to start getting to know the motosai taxi drivers...

Update...As far as Siam Paragon...to the back of the Gourmet Foods grocery store, by the wine department. On the ground level they have a cabinet of the Filipino...very fresh panatelas...5 for 252 thb....Upstairs is the CUbans....three kinds of panatelas..partagas, monte cristo, and one other...900 for a box of five...those little Cohibas are 2400 for 20 or 1200 for 10.....The 900 for five Partagas was the most reasonable deal upstairs....and they do have singles in the Filipino...and of course it is cheaper to buy five singles than one box of five...always in Thailand.
