I know they close one day a week and dont know what day, but I passed by today and it appears they are gone. There were no tables out front and I didn't even see the sign. Seems strange that there are no posted signs and nothing on the Internet about a move.

Anyone know? Thanks.

I would be very surprised if they went out of business. They are both young and had a roaring business, supplying many other businesses, the Japanese community, etc. It was absolutely my favorite bakery, nothing else comes close.

They are supposed to reopen in July but in a different location. Just at the end of the small soi next to the current place (Suriyawong soi 1).

The new property is still being renovated at the moment.

Thanks for that.

their landlord threw them out and canceled the lease contract

That happens in business, and honestly, they had outgrown the other place years ago. I hope the new place is at least double the size of the other one and has a few places to park.

Best baguettes you can buy in Chiang Mai, and some of the pasties are really nice too. Moving away from walking distance to it spurred me on to perfect my own, but I'll still buy a couple if I'm in the area. Hope the new location is a great success for them, they certainly deserve it. Very, very nice and really hardworking couple.
