Skill Development Dept produces personnel for international logistics sector

BANGKOK, 13 May 2016 (NNT) - Labor Minister Sirichai Ditthakul granted certificates to 51 trainees under a logistics personnel development project.

He said that the Department of Skill Development in cooperation with the Association of International Freight Forwarders has produced 700 logistics operators to solve a shortage in competent personnel in international logistics sector.

All the trainees have graduated a bachelor's degree and been newly employed with a monthly salary ranging from 14,000 to 25,000 baht.

700 logistic trainees got a bachelor's degree in logistics , just to drive a forklift around a shed or place a weight manifest on a container. the pay scale is fitting for their degree, I just wonder whether the course was fast tracked , anyway , good luck to them and may they enjoy the experience..............................coffee1.gif
