Tak Bus Terminal.

Can anyone confirm that the mini buses leave from the Tak bus terminal (the one just off the 12 road) to go to Maesot?

Also, can your motorbike be left there safely for the day? Thanks.

Never been to Tak, but many Thai bus terminals have commercial motorcycle yards nearby. Where I live, they charge only 9 baht/day, with rates being cheaper than that for one week or more.

Not sure how to confirm anything but the usual practice is that they wait for enough people and then roll them out on a very regular basis... as full... or over full as they will fit children in between passengers... the road is winding, the drivers shoot for speed records and the kids frequently vomit... I have friends who used to make the trip 2x a week...

they do have larger busses that go too which might be more comfortable but slower...

as to motorcycle parking - I think nothing more than the usual unsecured bus parking lot... maybe you can park in front of one of the store/stalls there, offer a tip and hope someone will keep an eye on the bike for you... for extra security. I guess there is risk anywhere though Tak is not a high risk area... ask at the terminal.
