Van Route from Central Rama 2 to MBK/Chula

Featured Replies

So I am somehow confuse.

Does anyone know the public mini-route from Central Plaza Rama 2 going to MBK.

I know that there is a van in there, however, it has been twice already that I came for the van in the afternoon, around 3PM - and to my surprised there were no vans anymore going to MBK from Central Plaza Rama 2.

However, my friend just used the van earlier in the morning going to MBK. but when I came in the afternoon there were no more vans.

So I had to ride a cab going to MBK. - and to my another surprise I tried to check the Vans in front of MBK.

I am shocked that there are still vans in the evening going to Rama 2 from MBK - however in the afternoon there were no vans from Rama 2 to MBK.

This happened twice to me already, I am just very confuse.. I tried asking the driver and we did not understand each other.

Anyone here care to explain?

Thanks

I think bus 76 goes past MBK from central rama 2, eventually

I think bus 76 goes past MBK from central rama 2, eventually

but it takes at least around 60 to 90 minutes if I will take the bus.

Taxi or Mini-van it will take only 20-30minutes

Yes but sometimes you are stuck in the van for 30 mins waiting for it to fill up, van goes from there to victory monument as well. Vans are not as safe as buses either.

I just wanted to know the van schedule from Rama 2 going to MBK.

Because it is much more convenient.

To be honest waiting for Bus 76 takes at least 30minutes if you're lucky.

Then another 60 to 90 minutes travel time.

Hence I prefer riding the van

Cheers

I didn't know that there was a van route from Rama 2 to MBK but there is one to Victory which terminates under the expressway on the north west corner of Victory which only take 20-25 mins via the expressway (except afternoon peak). Then a short walk to the BTS.

They run every 10 mins or so as this is one of the heaviest pax van routes in BKK. I forget the number but it should also say Victory Monument in eng on the front sign which is mostly Thai.

The 76 bus goes along Silom before going down Wireless Rd, then Phetchburi, and then left into Ratchadamri at Central World. The 141 bus goes to MBK and Chula. The 140 goes from Rama 2 to Victory Monument. They all take the expressway, to a greater or lesser extent.
