Officer cleared of all charges in Freddie Gray case

Iraqi leader cites early success in push to retake Fallujah

Investigators search wreckage of EgyptAir plane, test DNA

CAIRO (AP) — A French ship joined the international effort to hunt for the black boxes and other wreckage of EgyptAir Flight 804 Monday, searching for clues to what brought the plane down, as Greek and Egyptian authorities diverged on what happened to the plane during the crucial final minutes before it crashed into the Mediterranean, killing all 66 people on board.

Govt to honor Their Majesties the King and Queen with 8 projects

BANGKOK 24 May 2016 (NNT) - The government is planning to set up eight projects, through which Thais can learn more Their Majesties the King and Queen.


These projects will be carried out under a joint effort between National Legislative Assembly (NLA), the National Reform Steering Assembly, the Constitution Drafting Commission and the King Prajadhipok’s Institute.

A series of activities and exhibitions will kick off from June 7 until the end of this year to celebrate the 70th anniversary of His Majesty the King’s accession to the throne and Her Majesty the Queen’s birthday celebrations on August 12.

According to NLA President Pornpetch Wichitcholchai, the eight projects consist of an ordination ceremony of 85 men, a music concert, a mangrove forest conservation campaign, and an exhibition on royal projects, to name a few. The exhibition will be held at Parliament and the Thai Parliament Museum.
