Koh Samui land deal gang - more arrests

SAMUI: -- Koh Samui police have made more arrests in a 28 million baht land transfer swindle.

Six people have now been arrested in connection with the falsification of documents concerning the transfer of two pieces of land. The trick involved false legal documents trying to sell the land for a third of its real price reported Manager Online.

Latest arrests on warrants were of two women, Mathurada Deemeesri and Bupha Thongleua. They have been initially charged with receiving stolen goods as investigations continue to round up several other gang members. Four others were arrested earlier for the case that dates back to March 2015,

Arrest warrants have been issued for two further people this week. A total of nine are believed to be behind the scam.

They will have an excuse. Probably thought they were getting the latest movie schedule. A wai and a couple of weeks in a temple will do it
