Hi to all,

I am looking for a regular 20 pound Co2 tank like those being used in bars and restaurants.

Does someone know an address in Chiang mai where I can get a hold of a tank like this and where I can refill as well?

I want to use the Co2 tank for a home use beverage system so the Co2 has to be suitable for consumption purposes (maybe using gas made for Co2 welding is not a good idea).

Usually beverage suppliers provide the Co2 with the beer kegs ordered but they do not sell Co2 tanks (with gas) without you buying keg(s) of beer.

Thanks ahead for any responses and have good day,

Don't do what a guy I know did with his home brew kit in Oz.

He brewed up 20 litres or so in a poly container, and connected the C02 hose to the container, which for some reason was in his living room.

The pressure burst the tank, and I gather that his missus was not happy with 20 litres in the living room carpet.

Just wondering how this search went. Can we get an update?

I am also looking into getting food quality CO2 tanks, but for other uses (mosquito trap!)

Went there yesterday and purchased myself a 13L CO2 tank. They charged me 3000 for the tank and 350 for the CO2.

They also sell some regulators, but they are what i would consider high flow as the lowest setting is 1L / Minute.

Went to the aquarium shop (behind) Tesco on the Super Highway. Pickedup a "omnibus" regulator for 700 baht. They are using these to slowly dose CO2 into aquariums for plant growth.

Rgs,
