Does anybody know where one might find xiaomi smartphones in Chiang Mai , specifically the mi 5 model? Thanks!

they are available in Bangkok but not in C.M.

You can either buy from Lazada or directly from China. Be aware of possible tax/customs if using a courier service (DHL, UPS etc).

Thanks everyone for your responses. Looking at the mi5 and it isn't cheap so I was really hoping to get a hand feel for the device before purchasing.

a friend who was visiting last year went down to Bangkok to buy hers and she was able to get a hand feel for the device before buying. just go there to buy it. there were some issues getting it into English however.
