Garbage blamed for slowing down of water in drainage tunnel

Gen Paiboon: No legalization of narcotic drugs

BANGKOK: -- The government will not legalise narcotics drugs but will put more emphasis on rehabilitating drug addicts with the Ministry of Public Health as the lead organization in dealing with the addicts, Justice Minister Paiboon Kumchaya said on Wednesday.

All oil prices up except E 85

BANGKOK: -- PTT Plc and Bangchak announced the increase of all pump prices except E 85 effective 5 am Thursday.

The price of benzene, gasohol 95, gasohol 91 and E 20 will be increased 60 satang/litre. While diesel price will go up 50 satang/litre.

The price of E 85 remains unchanged.

The new pump prices in Bangkok and adjacent provinces on Thursday will be as follows:

Benzene 95 31.96 baht
Gasohol 95 25.00 baht
Gasohol 91 24.58 baht
E 20 22.44 baht
E 85 18.39 baht
