Has anyone recently used VFS service,we'll in the process of applying but are undecided if paper or via online. VFS of course advise using them,we just want the fastest route,currently saying 12 days online. No comment from VFS on timing,not we got an UK visa within a week.

I found the online application to be difficult. Even though it was quite recent, I cannot remember specifics, but it was not user-friendly, in my opinion.

I gave up on it, did a paper application and my girlfriend lodged it at VFS, Bangkok.

One good thing was the fact that there was no queue, unlike any other country we've applied for; just us and another guy with his Thai wife in the VFS office. He had also given up on the online version as well, by the way!

They do ask some strange questions in the application form! Got a decision from the embassy in about two weeks.

Did the paper submission at their Office. Got reply in 9 days. Don't think online is any faster necessarily.
