Hi. Wondering if my Thai wife, traveling on a 10 year tourist visa to USA, can join me in the short immigration line at JFK, or does she have to stand with all other foreigners in the normal non-USA line?

I took the wife me and the daughter in the short with no problems all except one time year before last. They made the wife get in the other line so we all got in the long line and started over. So it worked 6 out of 7 times. Good luck

Not sure if it matters but only went though JFK 2 times the other 5 were DC and the one time problem was in the Washington IAD and not JFK
