Clinton interviewed by the FBI about private email server

At least the FBI were able to question Hillary for 3 & 1/2 hours. The press have yet to have their questions answered in a press conference this year. Hillary is not public accessible and hides in her pool of shame.

Interesting that this criminal interrogation by the country's top law enforcement agency (the FBI) occurred on Saturday during the 4th of July weekend. Done purposely on this date to downplay its importance. Most Americans are enjoying the long holiday and will not care about the news until a least Tuesday, given a chance that most of its importance will blow over by then. Just like corrupt Hillary's debates with Bernie, always scheduled on dates which guaranteed the lowest viewership.

Hillary, Bill, daughter and son in law are all racketeering scumbags. Influence peddlers that have used the American populace for their own good.

Amazing how both President Obama and HRC (the next POTUS) seem to bring out the very "best" from the right wing nutters. The amount of bile being spewed now is about the same as before the two elections President Obama won. Must have been soooo painful for you guys. I can only imagine what having HRC as president for the next eight years must feel like!

Agree.

And for the life of me...what is the main attraction with her? They can forgive all her criminal behaviors but dumbly support her.

That is why there is no direct vote in America. All these polls mean nothing...unless you know where the electoral votes are coming from. Popular vote does not mean you win.

I think we have all seen this. Bush was an example of the possibility of getting electoral votes, regardless of the popular vote.

We don't even know the names of the people nominated for the Electoral College. From what I remember, they are anonymous to the public. There is no crime if they vote the other way (although they will never be trusted again).

Can they be bribed? I don't know....ask Hillary and Bill. Not for me to say.

"Hillary, Bill, daughter and son in law are all racketeering scumbags." "Can they be bribed? I don't know....ask Hillary and Bill. Not for me to say." "The Hillary fiascos are so large and humorous, that I have not been able to keep up."

Ahhh the life of a wingnut. All that time spent hating on Obama, now HRC. Making up conspiracy after conspiracy. Telling each other the lies and making up new ones.

It doesn't seem like it's a very fulfilling life to me. When the conspiracies all turn out to be bullshit, Vince Foster, Benghazi, Email servers, etc etc., isn't it really disappointing? I'd be devastated if I spent that much time invested in hating when it always turns out to be...nothing. I guess you gain some solace when you can take the lies and bullshit and spin it all into the next lie and conspiracy (The fix was in on the seventh Benghazi hearing, sort of thing). I think at some point, after being shut out again and again, disappointment would eventually set in, no?

I always underestimate the hate, I guess. coffee1.gif

Well, good luck on the email server, boys. Maybe you might actually score this time. After all Fox News can't be wrong every time time...whistling.gif

My bet is this...

Hillary indicted on related "minor violations", in return for her quitting the race.

A viable democrat will replace her.

Trump...well...let's just wait and see. I am flexible, as long as Hillary quits.

Don't be so sure that I am his biggest fan.

Once Hillary gets charged, and booted.....I can go with the flow.

It DOES make me wonder if they're keeping her in because of her connections for DNC money and then have her quietly exit stage left and move Benie in. It's a viably ploy as the big money machine wasn't interested in funding Sanders.

She will in Jail in 2 years

Joe Biden will run 2016 for President with Elizabeth Warren VP

Henry, While a Biden/Warren ticket sounds interesting, it will never happen because the Sanders folks would then stay at home or vote for Trump on election day. As far as Hillary goes, she will never see the inside of a jail, although she will likely get indicted and with an active felony indictment over her head she will be forced to end her campaign for POTUS thumbsup.gif Given the sensitive nature of some of the emails already made public it is hard to imagine the FBI not recomending an indictment, but then again this is a Clinton and they have a way of slip sliding away whistling.gif

"But as the past week shows, the case is complicated. Clinton sat down with the FBI just days after her husband, former President Bill Clinton, walked across a hot airport tarmac in Phoenix for an impromptu meeting with Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Lynch's husband. The couple had just landed."

Whoa. I did not realize their meeting took place days before Hillary's interview with the FBI.

Question: does anyone here still think the meeting was innocent?

I believe the question is:

Does everyone who isn't watching Fox News 24/7 still think the meeting was innocent? Bill Clinton discussed his grandchildren and golf with Loretta Lynch and her husband.

When all you've got is a candidate as bad as Trump is, you're constantly searching for the "gotcha" conspiracy to somehow flip the election campaign out of the death spiral it's in.

Anyone else want to offer up another Conspiracy Theory of the Day? Ah, it's still early.

What is it with you left wing nut cases and fox news anyway? The only media mentioned in the article was meet the press, which has moved well left of center since the passing of Tim Russert. Perhaps some day you will be able to take off those blinders and rose colored glasses and look at this situation with Hillary or any other political situation from an objective point of view instead of as an extreme partisan goof. I would certainly go for the kebobs.....but no thanks on that Hillary dog.

The kebobs don't even look good - where's the beef?

The FBI hopefully (still) has "the beef".

It appears as though the FBI thermal treatment has done wonders for her figure.

No doubt it was actually the NY Post photo-editors/dietitians, though.

Doubt Putin would want to damage Hillary's chances. He needs another pushover in the White House to continue building his empire

Russia has a $60 billion military.

USA has a $660 billion military.

I think the plan (if it comes to that) is to move VP Biden in.

That is why Bernie is staying in the race (or has he officially conceded yet?). If he stays in, he would be the winner.

Just a guess, since I can't keep up with all the rule changes the Dems try to enact to keep Bernie down.

FBI recommends no charges http://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/06/us/politics/hillary-clinton-fbi-email-comey.html?_r=0

I wonder what the Tumpkins are going to do now? The Ben Ghazi dead horse can't be flogged anymore. The make believe national security scandal over silly emails has collapsed. I guess they will have to go back to commenting on HRC's 'grandmotherly' thighs.

I can hear all those insufferably noisy Tumpkins choking on their crow and humble pie right now.

There will be a whole lot of people other than just republicans who would be disgusted at this decision. The fix has probably been in at this election but the level of mistrust and contempt for the Govt status quo will build off of this

Sore loser?

The Director of the FBI said that despite the massive resources and effort put into this witch hunt, they could not find evidence of intent. Prosecutions generally proceed in these cases where there is intent to compromise security.

You expect Clinton to be treated differently under the law than others?

Of course one segment of the political spectrum does and when they don't get their way? Well the post above is just the start of the howling.

Had no money invested to lose so no. Expected this from the beginning. Hillary is just the tool not the problem. The Oligarchs wanted to go to November with Jeb & Hillary to further the cause. Once Jeb proved not up to the task. Hillary became inevitable.

So. let me get this straight. If she was indicted that would be bad news. Now that she's not indicted that would also be bad news. Even though the polls have been overwhelmingly showing her ahead with the possibility of indictment hanging over her, now that that's been lifted, it's going to get worse? Really? Bitter much?

I can think of several posters here who would say so.

Whether they actually believe it or not is a different matter.

Sometimes people will stick to what they have said for months for fear of losing face and looking stupid.

There doesn't need to be intent. Americans employed by the govt/military have gone to jail for breaking the law unintentionally.

FBI Rewrites Federal Law to Let Hillary Off the Hook
...in order to give Mrs. Clinton a pass, the FBI rewrote the statute, inserting an intent element that Congress did not require. The added intent element, moreover, makes no sense: The point of having a statute that criminalizes gross negligence is to underscore that government officials have a special obligation to safeguard national defense secrets; when they fail to carry out that obligation due to gross negligence, they are guilty of serious wrongdoing. The lack of intent to harm our country is irrelevant. People never intend the bad things that happen due to gross negligence.

So on the one hand we have a demonstrated Hilary-hater using someone else's words to try and keep the legs on this manufactured scandal and on the other hand we have the Director of the FBI. Given the yawning chasm that we might call the credibility gap, it is quite obvious who the undeclared votes will listen to.

Now, thanks to a right wing legal opinion piece, there will be endless parsing of the term 'gross negligence' on this and other threads. I suppose that will be enough for the loons to keep posting the memes and expressing their outrage until the bars open.

You don't like the intent reference, write your Representative. This beat up is finished.

Poor National Review, without a candidate to endorse. Best they can do is bash someone else's candidate. Quick guys, make with the air pump before the Emailgate balloon goes completely flat! They better find a way for this and Benghazi! to become relevant again in late October.

William F. must be laughing in his grave.

Time for more important issues: will Hillary wear a gown to the inaugural ball, or a pants suit?

Wow, the flood of anger coming from EVERYONE not a blind Hillary supporter. Just read the tweets in the link...

Sanders supporters melt down over FBI's Clinton decision

It's not only Donald Trump and Republicans expressing their indignation at the FBI's decision not to recommend charges against Hillary Clinton over her handling of classified materials on a private email server.
The Tuesday announcement also set off a torrent of anger and frustration among some of Bernie Sanders' most diehard supporters, a vocal minority who have been agitating for an indictment of the former secretary of state in the hopes it would vault the Vermont senator to the Democratic nomination.
