PRACHINBURI: -- A jealous Thai man thought his colleague was flirting with his wife as he sang a song at a Prajinburi rubber works on Sunday evening. So he took a knife to his coworker slashing him eleven times.

Now the hunt is on for the murderer who fled the scene with his wife before police arrived, Reported Daily News.

Sri Maha Po police were called to the Suphaporn Rubber works on the Kabinburi Road Sunday evening where they found 25 year old Wira Chankaew from Si Khiw, Nakorn Rachasima who had been slashed to death.

He had eleven wounds to the back of his neck head and other parts of his body.

Police were told that the deceased man was a happy guy who liked to sing while he was doing his work. Earlier in the day Prasong Seuprat, 42, had been seen having a jealous argument with his 25 year old wife Trisukhon Khumngern who are both also employees of the firm. He kept his anger to himself but it was to boil over later in the day.

Apparently as they were putting away their tools at the end of the work day Prasong got jealous as Wira was singing thinking that he was flirting with his young wife. Even though he tried to flee the attack Wira was chased and repeatedly attacked, witnesses said.

Police are looking for Prasong who fled with his wife.

Speechless......!

The mind boggles.

RIP.

Some people have some serious issues. These issues can usually be resolved by growing up.

Speechless......!

I'm not.

I've been around Thais for 10 years.

This is almost as sad as the guy who got shot a couple years back during Songkran Festival (somewhere in the south, I think) because he said he didn't want to get wet.

Un.. ... BELIEVABLE.

So many witnesses or should we rather call them "spectators"

That's different! coffee1.gif

yes, exactly. Nothing alleviates jealously, poverty, mental illness and what sounds like meth of chemical related psychosis like growing up.

Apparently growing up doesnt stop making flip and supercilious comments on forums either.

Geez! factories need metal detectors, never allow primates to have sharp objects, see what can happen. I am surprised the article didn't suggest he was of Burmese extraction.

You mean like the schools in the US ?

What you are saying is that they are mentally unstable, correct?

No mate I reckon it might be the lao khao or yaba or combination of both.

The people who carry out these all too frequent attacks are full on emotional retards. sad.png

Way cool.

It seems to come as a shock to some people on here that jealously can make people do the most insane things....including murder.

PS. Ask the average Thai lady about it....she will tell you.

Make it up journalism comes to mind... the one guy who knows is on the run, the other is dead! So lets make a headline! I have no doubt it's because of jealousy but 'Whistle while you work' is the sub editor working overtime.

This proves what I have been saying for years...Thais do not want anyone to be 'happy'...unless you are about to finish up a massage...

Oh look, the body of a guy that's been slashed to death! Hang around kids so you can take it all in.

Bet that hip high kid in the blue won't be whistling at school tomorrow.

Though he'll probably have the photos on his phone so he can show off to his classmates, teachers, school cleaners....

" What would you do if I sang out of tune, would you ???????"
