Dear all,

I'm a teacher in Thailand and currently on a Non-B, which will allow me to temporarily stay in Thailand for not more than 90 days. I have just gotten my work permit and would like to apply for an extension of stay based on my work as a teacher. My Non-B will expire on the 25th this month, so two questions:

1) Is it possible to apply for an extension on the 25th itself, the day my visa is set to expire? Or must it be done before the date?

2) What docs are required for the application? Tried Googling but couldn't find any info on this.

Thank you!

I believe you can apply for the extension up until your last day. Your school/employer should be providing you with a packet of documents needed...you cannot begin to produce them on your own.

1. You could apply on the last day if you wanted to but doing it before then would be best in case you need more documents. You loose nothing by doing it early since the extension will be from the date your current entry ends.

2. Your employer should know what is required to apply for the extension.
