I'm trying to rehabilitate a fledging songbird at home. The first 24 hours have gone OK: "he's" eating, pooping, perching and preening.

My problem is that I have a fractured shoulder, and I'm physically having trouble with his feedings. I don't know if it's realistic for me to undertake his care at this time. Additionally, I may have to have shoulder surgery next week.

Does anyone know of a bird rescue/sanctuary in CM? The one sanctuary listed online seems geared to exotic/trafficked birds; moreover, no address is listed.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

...if it is old enough to sit on a perch and eat on it's own... it should be pretty easy from there, if it is a bul bul it can become quite attached to you.
