Andaman Al
Ouch! Pleading Not guilty - maximum penalties at stake. He could be looking at a 30 year stretch.
Jingthing
Should have gone for the insanity defense. I recall reading he has a history of such problems. Being white, young, and British, he has a leg up in the U.S. justice system but I don't think the not guilty plea will wash.

Jingthing
There was a GUN, but it was not a SMOKING gun, and it also wasn't in the accused possession. Maybe his lawyer can work with that. Best of luck. It just takes one juror in a jury trial to hang a jury. An insanity defense may have worked to reduce his punishment, but I suppose there is a small chance of walking now. nausea
The ineptness of it is probably where the lawyer is going.
ggt
This present US government may pressure the British to let this man go and return him to the US...where he will be given another chance...
daveAustin
^ He's in the US. If he really wanted to do it right, why not clobber the cop and then disarm him? I mean, he planned this. Trying to snatch a cops gun is never going to work.
