I've heard that, from July 2016, 90 days reporting must be done in person only at Pathum Thani Immigration. No employer or authorized person can do it for you. I would like to know if it is true?

I haven't heard or read anything about this on the news!

I'm sure you will still be able to mail in your 90 day report registered mail with a return envelope as many travel and are out

of town during the reporting time allowed. That is the purpose of the mail in option.

Hope this does not spread to Chiangmai where the whole system is under huge pressure.

Currently 90 days can be done in person, by a proxy, by post or online.

If reporting in person becomes the norm then the whole place is likely to collapse and the bread and butter lucrative income for agents will also disappear.
