how to fix leaking concrete roof

Featured Replies

i have a small leak seeping through a concrete roof. there is no obvious place it's coming through so i need to reseal the whole roof i think.

what products do you all recommend for this?

thx

My issue is much smaller and the reverse of yours but I did run across "Crocodile" sealant product at Home Pro last week. Plan to repair my concrete fish pond leaks and give this Croc product a try on the entire surface. I want to keep water in, you want to keep it out.

Next time you're driving around town look at all the flat concrete roofed buildings that look like the owners have covered the concrete roof with a large shaded patio area.

Most of them had what started as a small seep they couldn't find.

Are you witnessing an ingress of liquid or penetration damp?

Measure up the area take some pictures take your lady with you to the local large hardware store they will be able to advise you what is best for you situation just remember to purchase double the amount so it won't leak again.

Steve,

Is it a flat roof?

Make sure the drainage is up to snuff.

Get the boys from the black stuff to come around and pour bitumen around the edges and into any obvious surface cracks?
