Once again have lost a long reply to a members post because post was moved while composing - so get not authorized to post screen. Why can't software leave a pointer on old topic to allow for this and route the reply to the new location? Or provide an option to save attempted post so you can copy/paste to new location?

Not a question I can answer.

I have had the same thing happen to me. Today it was a moved post message because somebody was doing it at same time as me.

I know - and it happens a lot as you guys have to move a lot of posts - just is really frustrating when that message comes up and you know back up will not restore the reply. Something that should really not happen in an ideal software world. Still waiting on that.

Hey Lop, which browser do you use? Firefox has an add-on called "Text Area Cache".

It automatically saves all text entered in a text box or WYSIWYG editor. Currently, I have a copy of everything I've entered on every site since 2nd of July. biggrin.png

Unfortunately using Chrome and kind of addicted to it for last several years - thanks for the tip - may give it a try.

Well reading further may not be usable.

ALSO NOTE: Lazarus 3 doesn't save WYSIWYG editors yet, this is due to a Chrome bug

Yes, I found that Lazarus add-on when I was being curious about an equivalent add-on for Chrome, and was going to recommend it to you until I read the bit about the WYSIWYG problem! biggrin.png

Looks like you found the same web page as me!

Actually, I don't use the WYSIWYG editor on Thaivisa as I am used to seeing the {quote} and {/unquote} stuff. I also find it easier to delete to centre post in a multinested reply when I get the "too many quotes" error. wink.png

Probably not ideal, but you could try and make it a habit to always select all (Ctrl + A) and then copy (Ctrl + C) your post before posting.
