BY RICHARD WHEATSTONE

LONDON: -- Local media reports say the attack took place in Würzburg-Heidingsfeld and a suspect is on the run

Around 15 people have been injured after a man armed with an axe stormed a train in Germany and went on a bloody rampage, it has been claimed.

Armed police swarmed the area soon after receiving reports that a man hacked at passengers on board a train close to Wurzburg in southern Germany at around 9pm local time.

The twisted axe-man was then shot dead by police as he ran towards officers to attack them - bringing his horrifying attack to an end.

Police have confirmed that at least 15 people, three of who are feared to be fighting for their lives, have been injured in the horrifying attack - which began this evening.

Gosh, there's a headline you don't read everyday...nah, of course we do. We actually read it everyday, and much of it was foreseeable and somewhat preventable.

Numbness by graduation. It's like prepping the battlefield with artillery. When you've beaten the ground enough, opposing forces are more agreeable to your will. By design or not, this is what's happening.

After a time, negotiation will be offered, concessions, and further genuflection.

This will further embolden those who already hold the west in contempt simply because the west is not them. This cycle will escalate.

EU gov will crack down not on the sources of the jihadis' inspiration but on those they call the 'right' seeking to self preserve.

This is what they've wrought.

Are we numb yet?

You don't know the story behind these people. Maybe his whole family was murdered by western troops in Afghanistan. There is a hell of a lot of collateral damage going on over there. Maybe he came to Europe to take revenge, an eye for an eye. Western nations need to lock down their borders and have much more observation and treatment for people who are let in from these war torn nations. And with Turkey going to Islamists, Europe needs to keep Turkey out of the EU and control that border more. Nato needs to move its nukes out of Turkey. Times have changed.

And you'll never guess what slogan he was shouting...bah.gif

That's what happens when people have religion and hate. You find America soldiers saying religious words too as they fight. And of course the Afghans and other Muslims fighting the enemies of the west also shout 'Alla Akbhar' when they fight alongside the US and other troops. I'm not making excuses for him; just pointing out the hypocrisy of those who think this man's hate is different that that which their nations and people spout. Hate's all the same and hate makes hate. So expect more.

Afghan teen killed after injuring passengers on German train

BERLIN (AP) — A teenage Afghan migrant armed with an ax and a knife attacked passengers aboard a regional train in southern Germany on Monday night, injuring four people before he was shot and killed by police as he fled, authorities said.

Wuerzburg police said on their Facebook page that three of the victims suffered serious injuries and one was slightly injured. Another 14 people were being treated for shock.

Bavaria's top security official, state Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann, told Germany's ARD television that the attacker had been identified as a 17-year-old Afghan.

Germany last year registered more than 1 million migrants entering the country, including more than 150,000 Afghans, but it was not immediately clear whether the suspect was among them or someone who had been in the country for a longer time.

Herrmann said initial information was that the suspect came to Germany as an unaccompanied minor and had lived in the Wuerzburg area for some time, initially at a refugee facility in the town of Ochsenfurt and more recently with a foster family.

He said authorities were still investigating the motive of the attack and were looking into reports that the suspect had yelled out "an exclamation" during the rampage. He was responding to reports that some witnesses had heard the suspect shout "Allahu Akbar" ("God Is Great") during the attack.

The train was on its way from the Bavarian town of Treuchtlingen to Wuerzburg, which is about 60 miles (100 kilometers) northwest of Nuremberg.

He was a deranged Muslim, an Islamist terrorist or just wanted revenge for the murder of his innocent family or friends in Afghanistan by western troops. Well, that's my view.

So a murdered family, completely out of your imagination, is somehow justification of a vicious attack on innocent people. All the justification he needed came from a book of myths, the "murdered family" is just a way for apologists to feel better about themselves.

The press is really trying to help the Islamists out by giving the benefit of the doubt. But these guys keep yelling Allah Akbar and blowing their cover. Perhaps the mainstream media will meet with ISIS to work out a better arrangement.
