She must have stepped on some big toes in her past, because they seem to be ready to take her down.

No doubt the lese majesty charge opens the door to everything else.

she is a red shirt. that means she stepped on the toes of the yellow shirts. as the yellows are currently in power there may be justice here. sorry i dont follow thai politics closely enough to know the names of the political parties here. love the color coded system however. wish they would use it in other countries. great innovation thailand.

Malaysia has their own 'yellow' shirt ban.

Ireland had their Orange problem (my great grandma was one of those Orange ladies) who had to run away to prevent further offense, and became the first orange lady to land in far off Tasmania.

looks like the sh*t has well and truly hit the fan, now to see what all the deadwood looks like, there could be some interesting names come out in this, the main culprit hasnt even started talking yet.

Nor will she,nothing significant anyway.

In USA its red or blue

In Canada its red, blue, orange, green, purple, etc, etc.

Any other countries want to chime in on color code for political parties?

The BP article today reveals that she was offering to sell royal titles for large sums, which would make an LM charge quite appropriate, whether you agree or not with LM laws. Nice conspiracy theory though.

There was a large scandal several decades ago where it came to light that Royal decorations were indeed being sold. But the people selling such titles were of a much higher social status than Ying Kai and the people purchasing the titles were also of a much higher status than Ying Kai. The idea that this woman was in a position to sell Royal titles is simply implausible if not laughable apart from the fact that decades ago nothing happened to the people involved.

Interesting to see the law equally applied. Especially when the gang that protected you is no longer in power? Now if the other gang was in power do we think she would be locked up and facing charges? No reflection on the other gang; more the case of whether your gang is in control? Just an observation.

Yes it really depends what gang is in power, she was protected by the previous gang. Now that protection is gone and justice is served. The problem is whatever gang is in power they will protect their own. So the coup or whatever other method of changing governments is good else people in a certain gang will never get prosecuted. Now when / if PTP gets in power again the gang in power now will be investigated and prosecuted. Its not good but its the way it is, so in my opinion a government change once in a while EVEN by coup is good otherwise certain criminals will never face justice.

Would be better if there was a good court system and the law was independent but that is not how it is here so we have to accept that this is the only way.
