Any help or info appreciated, I've spent some time trawling the CM and northern posts but there are a lot and the search function seems to be nationwide...

I'm newly arrived, live near the Khun Tan tunnel in the Mae Tha villages so am able to get to Lamphun / CM easily enough. I've sorted my Visa, Yellow book and am soon to build another house - have building permit etc sorted - so with all that hard work done... what to do with free time. I play guitar, have a KLX250 enduro and like fitness stuff. Any suggestions, places, groups - i.e. an off road motorcycle group, gyms, swimming pools, music. I have an easy on line job so need something to replace sunbathing, mostly because I'm sick of explaining to my Thai neighbors why you would do that - as they all wander around in white faced in skin lightening cream... I love this place!

I would study up om plumbing venting, concrete expansion joints, and proper placement of sewer lines from walls for toilet installation....three areas that are frequently neglected by the milk deprived.

A lot to do easily unless you are looking for companions to do it with which is a different issue.

I'm all ok on the building side, It's more local facilities I'm interested in, a lot of the internet information is so out of date - for example the Space Roller on Kaeo Nawarat Rd.
