I'm selling my motorbike and am told that I need to provide a Certificate Of Residence in order to transfer ownership to buyer.

As it's almost 4 years since I last had to do this, would some kind person please give me an update on where I have to go (Promenada Immigration?), what I need to provide and costs etc.

Many Thanks.

I just did one last month to sell my truck

I used the guys next to Prom Imm GT Something??

cost 600 baht it included the photo

I think you can get them free at Imm if your willing to wait a week or more

I know you can also if a US citizen get them at the US Consulate...I have bought probably 3 or 4

in years gone by...but they cost $50 USD or roughly 1750 baht...They ask you to just swear you live where you say.

So the GT place next to IMM for 600 baht seems ok to me...I guess wink.png

They did not ask for anything really other than my passport

Did not care about my wifes bluebook...just asked my address same as US Consulate would

Takes 1 day drop in 1 day pickup the next

If you go Immigration will tell you to go G4T

That is was has been reported previously

I just go to G4T now for my Residence Certificate
