Hi, I have read on GT-Rider that it is possible to temporarily bring a Thai moped to Laos. http://www.gt-rider.com/touring-information-overview/s-e-asian-border-crossings

I have not heard of anyone actually doing this. I have moved to Laos and have a great little Suzuki that I would love to bring across. It's in my name, no finance etc. Ideally I would love to keep it here. I have no intentions of selling it here in Laos.

Does anyone have first-hand experience of this? I paid $350 for a fake Honda rust bucket here which judders around Vientiane, whilst my moped in Thailand is sitting idle.

Any help greatly appreciated.
