serendipityfox Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Can anyone recommend a half decent estate agent to manage my apartment to rent. I tried perfect homes recently and they are usually a keen outfit, but at the moment they are really unresponsive for some reason. I understand that the rental market is saturated, but just want to get my apartment advertised before going overseas.
worgeordie Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 I would advise you do it yourself, free adverts on TVisa ,BhatSold, flyers placed on message board of your local RimPing,I believe there might be places on FaceBook, but never used those.let the people at the front desk of your building know you have apartment for rent.I am sure the results will be as good as using an Agent, and you can vet the tenants yourself, and save some money.and don't be too greedy with the rental price, there's a lot of condos for rent. regards worgeordie

serendipityfox Posted July 28, 2016 Author Posted July 28, 2016 Good advice, but the fact is i will not be here so need an agent to deal with the details.
cyberfarang Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Good advice, but the fact is i will not be here so need an agent to deal with the details. Agents make their money from commissions and the percentages from the rentable values of properties they manage and prefer to manage the higher end properties for these reasons. If your apartment is on the lower end scale I doubt the agents would be interested. Probably better to lock the apartment and forget about it.
serendipityfox Posted July 29, 2016 Author Posted July 29, 2016 (edited) ...'better lock the apartment and forget about it'... A rather retrogressive suggestion, don't you think? Edited July 29, 2016 by serendipityfox

Dante99 Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 Is this about renting an owned apartment, sub leasing a non owned apartment, renting an owned condo, subletting a condo or what?
