Phuket power outages ahead as workers upgrade high-voltage lines

PHUKET: The Phuket Provincial Electricity Authority (PPEA) has announced a slew of scheduled power outages this month as workers continue to upgrade high-voltage power lines.

Areas to be affected from 9am to 4pm while the work is carried out are as follows:
August 4 – Phuket Town. Yaowarat Rd, from Komaraphat Rd to Vachira Phuket Hospital.

August 5 – Wichit. Sakdidet Rd, from in front of Kwang Tung Cemetery to Baan Ao Nam Bor School, including Soi Pracha Seri, Moo Bann Phuket Baan Sabai, some areas of Soi Suwanna, Soi Porkun, Soi Nikom, Moo Bann Chonnakan Borrae, Soi Ferngfoo, Soi Sinthavee, Soi Ngulerm, Soi Samard, and some areas of Soi Pracharuamjai.

August 11- Rassada. Pracha Uthit1Rd, From Baan Thung Kha School to the entrance of soi Panieng Yaowarat Rd, including Pracha Uthit 1; Top Land Rassada Village; Soi Nawarak to the junction at Thawi Saman market; then to Soi Thung Kha 1, 3, 4, 7; Soi Phaniang 1, 2, 3, 4, 5; Soi Muenphan-Uthit, Soi Trokkanphai and Soi Yindeesanit.

August 14 – Sapam/Koh Kaew. Thepkrasattri Rd south bound from Sapam village to front of Boat Lagoon, including Moo Baan Supalai Lagoon Sapam.
