Plot of Land beside Hillside 4 being cleared again

Featured Replies

I'm away at the moment, but I've just seen this on the Hillside 4 Facebook group. This plot of land was last cleared 3 years ago, and the developer had a pretty obnoxious plan for two 15-story buildings - a condo and a hotel, but the plan was eventually dropped. Looks like the land is being cleared again. Wonder what the plan is this time.

I heard from a good source that you are right except the two buildings shall be 25 stories  instead of 15

I'm sure we'll get 25 stories from good sources before there's a single one built beside hs4!

If they build, does that mean no more views for many HS4 condos?.

Yep

I was by there today...a couple of small backhoes digging around and a few trucks....maybe drainage maintenance, but more likely getting ready for surveys and staking, etc..no signs indicating anything.  A very prime parcel, for sure, but wouldn't one of the height restrictions apply?  And yes, all the west side views could be gone, and even the south facing front units if they build out to HK.  The Japanese have a big presence in that area....should be interesting.
