I will be applying for a METV visa in my home country USA, one of the application requirements is a hotel conformation.  I only booked one reservation  for 2 days in BKK,  for my arrival which the hotel conformation states, Then Im going to Korat and rent an apartment after I look at different apartments to choose from. My question is when consulate sees I only have 2 day reservation will that be a problem of cause them  not to grant me a visa? I hope they dont expect conformations through the whole duration  of stay in Thailand???

Not sure where you are applying since there are so many places to do it in the states.

The embassy website ( http://thaiembdc.org/tourist-visa-category-tr-multiple-metv/ ) only says this " 6. Hotel reservation confirmation (The name of the applicant must indicated clearly".

I think two days would be enough. You could also write a note stating your intentions to find longer arrangements after arriving. They certainly would not want 6 months of hotel confirmations.

If you are doing a mail in application they would contact you about it or if in person they would ask about it before accepting your application

Ok Thanks, I will be doing it through mail to the NYC embassy, I'm the person that must see where I going to stay before I will book so hope consulate will understand, Hongolex

tIt is up o you, but I would rather apply through the Portland Oregon consulate for an METV as   according to their website their requiremnts for that visa seem much simpler than anywhere else.
