Only got a KTB savings account but work here. Need to pay my credit card bills back home. How would you go about it?

Krungsri sells checks drawn on a bank in my home country, but I am not having a current account with them.

Western Union - I'd want to avoid them!

TransferWise - they won't handle transfers from Thailand...

sounds like the best way to transfer money, what's the catch?

They're designed for importers wanting to settle invoices, not intended for domestic use.

The OP may just need to provide KTB with copies of WP / Thai tax returns plus copies of credit card statements to be paid. These would give details of cheque values / payee name.

Requesting this at the branch holding the savings account may make it an easier transaction. Worth a try before looking at other, possibly more expensive, alternatives.
