a couple years ago, we were in a large park in Bangkok and noticed the police were patrolling the park on electric motorbikes.  The physical appearance was similar to a 125 or 110cc gasoline powered motorbike.  We briefly chatted with the policeman and he said it needed a recharge ever 50km but, he liked it. 

 

My wife's motorbike (Honda Wave 125cc) is 10 years old and on it's last legs.  I would like to replace it with an electric one.  We live in Phetchabun province but don't mind traveling to Bangkok, Udon, etc to buy one.  Anyone know a place that sells them?
