How To Get Divorce

Featured Replies

im canadian and my thai gf registered and married on paper in 2010-11. then she gave up  after 1st attempt to get into canada was denied..now has been almost/over 6 yrs since ive heard from her.i cannot find her anywhere online or anything.for all i know shes married and living in europe  probly..

whats the easiest way i can get a divorce next time i visit bkk ???

i was told have to wait 10 yrs if cant locate a spouse then some1 else said only 5 yrs if one goes missing you can file and end the marriage..

You could use either abandonment for 1 year or separation for 3 years as reasons.

You will have to petition a Court as your wife is not available.

There is no way she can be married again in Thailand unless she divorced you first... Which she may have done.

I suggest you take a copy of your marriage certificate to a district office to find out if you are still married before you do anything else.
