Most illegal resort owners agree to dismantle their resorts themselves

PETCHABUN: -- Most of the 19 illegal resorts at Phu Tab Boek mountainous retreat in Lom Kao district of Petchabun province will be demolished by their owners after the provincial governor agreed to grant them a 7-day reprieve to decide whether they will demolish their premises themselves or let the officials do the job.

WhatsApp is going to share your phone number with Facebook

Privy Council president welcomes premier and military leaders on own 96th birthday anniversary

  

BANGKOK, 26 August 2016 (NNT) - Privy Council President Prem Tinsulanonda welcomed Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, members of his cabinet and military leaders who offered him best wishes on his 96th birthday anniversary. 

Gen. Prem opened his Sisao Deved house to welcome the premier, Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwan and other high-ranking government officials and military leaders on such special occasion on August 26. 

Gen. Prayut said that Gen. Prem has long dedicated himself to serving the country, maintained his honor and dignity and become an example for everyone. He presented a souvenir to Gen. Prem. 

The Privy Council president thanked his well-wishers and said he was confident in the premier and his cabinet who wished to bring unity to the nation. He also provided morale support to the premier and expressed his intention to help him as much as he can.

Thailand aims to be dropped from U.S.' PWL

 

BANGKOK, 26 August 2016 (NNT) – The Department of Intellectual Property steps up its efforts to remove Thailand from the U.S.’ Priority Watch List (PWL) with a focus on suppressing intellectual property violation in 70 locations nationwide.
