Report by Pattaya One News Team

PATTAYA: -- On the evening of August 29 a Ms Noppawan Suksatien (33), Ms Wanna Yoobchantuek (30),  and Mr Peter (surname withheld), a sixty-year-old Swiss national, made a complaint to the Superintendent at Pattaya Police Station.

They claim that on August 20 Ms. Noppawan was arrested for drug  possession and taken to Pattaya Police Station.

Whilst there she was approached by a man calling himself Singha who told her he was an ‘insurance agent’ who had connections with the police department and who could secure her release.

He told her this would cost 35,000 baht and demanded a 5,000 baht deposit.

The following day Ms Noppawan contacted one of her boyfriends, Peter.

There is just so much wrong with this story I don't know where to begin.

They "claim" she was arrested on drugs charges.

Whilst under arrest, she was approached for 35,000 by "Singha".

She contacted "one" of her boyfiends.

He handed over 5,000 deposit.

On the 23 August she was sent to trial and bailed.

She immediately went to the front desk to complain , on the 29 August.

Officers said that they had never heard of "Singha".

And finally, she is 33 and Mr Peter is 60, I have never seen a couple with such a massive age difference in Pattaya.

In a country where everything is fake, fakes should be legalised as an accepted

way of life and the coin of the realm of Thailand and thus will be legal to make

a complaint against fake people and fake products.....

All so true but my favorite part is this pair is so clueless that they are actually admitting to and making a complaint that they willingly paid a bribe but are angry it was not made good.

Mr Peter (last name withheld) needs a reality check.

Well, what can you say. If you play the game you'd better know what you' re doing. Personally, I like to play it straight. Although I have deviated one or two times, mainly on account of my SO, to get one or two of her mates out of deep shit.

I doubt this - or may be you are blind? Or never been there?

Not into tongue in cheek humour    ?

yet this guy is able to operate right inside the police station? No CCTV there or the cameras are fake just like the cops.

Never seen one story with so much Karma.

This was my thoughts exactly.

Is there no CCTV (not hard to believe for obvious reasons)

If there is, do they know the culprit,  how long has it been going on with someone thinking that it would never be reported .

Finally why are they not looking for him or perhaps they do know who it is.

I visited Pattaya once because a friend invited me. I was disgusted every second during the whole two days. Prostitues, Drugs, Beggin Children, Scammers. This place combines just everything bad what could be in a place.

I agree but tell no one , we might get sent by TV to an inactive post.

Ms Noppawan contacted one of her boyfriends, Peter.

:cheesy:,  help i can not stop laughing.

By the way, this is not the first we read about this mysterious Singha, if i remember he is a foreigner working hand in hand with crooked thai police to extort money from the tourists. Welcome to thailand....
