India Muslim woman 'raped for eating beef'

 

MEWAT: -- An Indian woman has alleged she was gang raped in northern Haryana state, after her attackers accused her of eating beef because she was Muslim.

 

The woman, 20, told the BBC that four men brutally raped her and her 14-year-old cousin two weeks ago, even though they had denied consuming beef.

 

She said the men also beat her uncle and aunt to death in their home in Mewat, a Muslim dominated district.

You may be fully justified in your cynicism about Islam but you should probably wait for an incident where Muslims are the perpetrators of the atrocity rather than the visitor  before you comment (it shouldn't take long).

 

As far as I'm concerned all religions are rotten to the core (except maybe Buddhism which is only rotten around the edges).

Unfortunately this is not the first time a person in India has been raped or beaten to death after being suspected of eating Beef.

 

I say suspected as in all the cases I can find the victims had actually eaten lamb as in the areas of India concerned beef is illegal.

Tell me why the international newspapers are not all over this story; and the hundreds of other stories that happen every year ? Why doesn't the EU and USA go at India the same way as they do to Thailand ? Do you not think India uses slave labor to process seafood and has other human rights problems ? The Indian government will do nothing to stop the rapes of women and children, unless there is pressure from other countries.

Reporters like to come to Thailand because it is a great country to visit. Good food, hotel, night life etc. etc.; where as India is a hole. Who would ever what to live there for a month and write about it ??

India and China,  are worse then Thailand; but no one want to go there.

No International pressure = No Change

Cows in India are Holly animals. Think it isn't even aloud to touch them or chase them away when they are laying down on the street.

 

But ok this doesn't legalise raping. But if you know that in other countries they shop off the head of a teeager because he forget to pray 1 time you don't need to be explained that you have crazy peoples everywhere who will miss use the word religion to harm anybody.

I wonder what Mcdonalds uses there….if it ever appeared that they used beef or even minuscule quantities of it mixed in to lower costs, there would be quite a ruckus.

I am afraid there are quite a few members here who cannot distinguish one religion from another.  Much easier for them to just chant Islam or Muslims.  Unfortunately there is no point in trying to educate them as they really cannot grasp such simple facts.  They much prefer their own brand of fiction

This news item is a disgrace , it gives very little scope to those who mindlessly attack all Muslims.

When I lived in India several years ago some Christian missionaries were locked inside the caravan whilst sleeping and burned to death. 

 

Attacks against non Hindus for all sorts of reasons are more regular than reported internationally. Rape is a punishment intended to disgrace a family and community; and of course the rapists take no pleasure in it haha. 

 

Similar attacks are regular against lower caste members too. The police are more corrupt, inept and under local political thumbs than anywhere I've been.

There was some trouble in the past. As I recall, at least one of their main branches (at the time) was trashed by an angry mob.

Years ago, saw a previously peaceful crowd tear a man apart. He drove (recklessly) and his truck hit a cow and calf. This, btw, took place in Porbandar, birth place of Mahatma Gandhi.

China doesn't release info on rape. And reporters don't go to the small villages in investigate.

its just bewildering on how some Muslim men under the flag of righteous religion suddenly deem themselves as judge jury and executioner. Seems to me they just need an excuse to rape a woman, or an excuse to vent and execute their repressions. Lets face it, deep anger and sexual frustrations come from REPRESSION and CONSERVATISM! Something they have created for themselves and only have Allah to blame for!
