The recent fiasco of the “Erdogan emails” (which, as we’ll see, actually have very little to do with Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan in any meaningful sense) is a shocking demonstration.

Ohhh......sorry my bad

Erdogan will take turkey back to the dark ages if allowed with his Islamic agenda........

He needs to be cut off at the knees.....or is that the head,in islamic speech

You completely missed the point about the women who's private details were published by Assange.

But yes, Erdogan is pretty bad.

Nothing to do with this whole ordeal for Assange really!..........he and his pursuers have bigger fish to fry.

Luckily, you are not one of the hurt parties. You might have a different opinion if it was your private data that was publicly posted.

Wasn't it suggested that the ladies concerned did not want to press charges, but the swedish courts decided to proceed with the cases, also that he has not been charged with any crime, these are alleged crimes for which sweden want to question him?

There is a charge of rape.

There is an arrest warrant for allegations, which the swedish authorities want to question him about. He has not actually been charged with rape!

Swedish prosecutors issued a European arrest warrant for Mr Assange after allegations of sexual assault related to a 2010 visit Mr Assange made to Stockholm to give a lecture. He denies the claims.

21 August 2010

The arrest warrant is withdrawn. "I don't think there is reason to suspect that he has committed rape," says one of Stockholm's chief prosecutors, Eva Finne.

Prosecutors say the investigation into the molestation allegation will continue but it is not a serious enough crime for an arrest warrant.

He faces questioning on rape charges. Try copying something more recent.
