webfact Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Video: Australian Biker Identified as one 'Foreign Mafia' Report by Pattaya One News Team PATTAYA: -- Two Thai men were attacked and one of them knocked unconscious by a gang of foreign bikers caught on CCTV this week. One of the men has now been identified at Australian Hell’s Angel John Lee (43) Pol Capt Saijai Khamjulla said Lee has been identified by Mr Nopparat Prakongyot who claimed he was chased by a man with a knife during the incident. Mr. Nopparat also said that the incident began when a pick-up truck, driven by one of the men, crashed into his motorcycle and so went to ask the driver what had happened. This is when, he says, he was threatened with a knife. He insists that Mr Lee was drunk at the time. However, social media responses to the Pattaya One story yesterday suggest a different story with one reader revealing that the incident did begin after a minor traffic incident, which led to a group of Thai men attacking the pick-up truck with bricks and clubs. After which the men inside jumped out to defend themselves and the Thai men ran away leaving one or two to take a beating. The police have confirmed that the men involved in the assault are members of the Pattaya Hell’s Angles Motorcycle club. webfact Posted September 23, 2016 Author Posted September 23, 2016 Two Hells Angels members agree to pay compensation to assault victims PATTAYA: -- Two members of the Hell’s Angels “big bike” gang turned themselves in to tourist police in Pattaya Friday morning to acknowledge charges that they assaulted two Thai men. The two Australian cyclists, identified as Daniel Anthony Stalley, 34, and John Lee, 43, were questioned for about two hours during which they agreed to compensate their two victims, Natthapong Pooncharoen and Ponrat Chartbut, to the tune of 150,000 baht. The two Australians also agreed to pay a third Thai man, Nopparat Prakongyos, who claimed he was chased by the duo – one of whom wielding a knife. Pol Col Apichai Krobpet, superintendent of Pattaya police, said police were awaiting medical report from the hospital about the condition of the two assault victims whether it was serious or not. He said that if the condition was serious, the case could not be settled and the two Hell’s Angels cyclists will have to return to the police for additional charges. KhunBENQ Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Slowly the whole story might surface. Don't batter Hells Angels car with bricks and clubs. Lesson learned?

nev Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 So the Thai men start it and now they get a nice compensation package mmmmm. This might encourage more attacks on falang.
KhunBENQ Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 If you damage their Harley you should be beamed up Still unclear to me: what exactly was this accident with the motorbike and did they actually flee the scene?
edwinchester Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 If I were the Thais receiving compensation from the Hells Angels I'd be looking over my shoulder for a considerable length of time.
LazySlipper Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Let the local Thai Hells take care of those moped van van punks. 150 000 bht??? Really??? These boys dunno who they are messing with...
DiamondKing Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Easier just to pay the compensation and it all goes away, of course its BULLSHIT the thais smashed their truck up tot he tune of over 100K in damages so they get to pay compensation and to fix their truck but as you can see they dont want press coverage just pay and let it fade away. Let the thai guys enjoy their money

Pffft,....the Hells Angels have no real power here,.....a farang sticks out in a crowd of Thais...I'm not even talking about a big guy with a lot of Tattoos in a biker outfit !!! did you see the video ??? they were so easily recognizable .... nothing will happen to those Thais....it's over they won !!! unless there is something more to this story ? And by the way ,...who will pay the damage to black the van ????
DavisH Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Not much choice but to pay the 150K...or risk having a lot of their dirt dug up by the BiB.

There are Thai Hells Angels to mate, let's just say a small mob of Thai motorcy riders might just get a visit and no falang will be involved.
HooHaa Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 odd nobody seems outraged about the the fact that these guys are allowed to throw some money at it then walk away.

You got it nev... but seems off road is pfff'ing at something he knows nothing about... not so long ago they had a picture of the Thai Hells with the dead Aussie Hells here on Thai Visa... anyone who thinks the Hells are not a force to be reckoned with surely knows nothing about them... I ain't squeemish but I would tread lightly ... problem is Thais and their lack of culture don't know what a real motorcycle organized crime gang is...

joepattaya1961 Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 "Hells Angels "big bike" gang"?????? Is there a Hells Angels "small bike" gang as well? Great, finally I'll be able to join a club here....just stop shaving, get some cartoons on my arms and buy a sleeveless shirt. My 125cc Suzuki Hyate is the key here!
Thaiwrath Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Obviously, some people on here actually respect these biker dicks.
JarekN Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 So I wonder if the next tourist beaten up by bunch of scum will also get 150'000 baht compensation?
klauskunkel Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Hell's Angels bikers are called "cyclists" in Thailand, hah!

The Hells Angels had just been involved in a hit and run, the people whose vehicle they hit chased them and got beaten by them, you are taking a very strange stance.
