Unless you will be doing something at an immigration office there is no need to worry about the report.

Certainly no problem when you enter the country. Just put her address on the the arrival card.

There is no requirement to report yourself every time you enter the country.

It is the owners, house master or possessor of the residence where you are staying responsibility to report your presence and it is not always required if it has been reported previously.

In Hat Yai Immigration they say,,When you enter Thailand and come Home you Must report to Immigration within 24 hrs and they start you 90 Day Report again from the day you enter Thailand.

Today immigration office raided a villas complex in Pattaya in Tappraya Road:fines different people that doesn't report the foreigner. But,they told me that the fines were different:between 800 to 1500 bht.Depends on what:

1)IO moods?

2)Or the fine follow how long you don't report the foreigner?

That's what i had been told by NakhonSiThammarat Immigration.

Isn't that ridiculous ? One enters Thailand through Passport control which is Immigration, present passport together with the ArrivalCard, then you are supposed to go to your immigration office to report your arrival again. What is the Arrival Card good for then ?

The arrival card is for the foreigner to report where they are going to be staying. The owner, house-master or possessor of the property are then supposed to report (within 24 hours) that the foreigner is staying with them. In the past foreigners mostly stayed in hotels and guest houses and in many cases were being reported even though they didn't know it. It's only becoming more of an issue because more and more foreigners are staying in private properties.

My wife was pulled up at Udon Immigration a few months ago regarding the reporting. Even though I hadn't left the country the last report for me was from a hotel in Kanchanaburi that we had stayed in. The IO used this as an excuse to threaten my wife with a fine for not reporting me but let her off with a warning. She told us if it happens again, she will fine us.
