Which Kasikorn branch is friendly towards foreigners?

Featured Replies

I already have 2 accounts with Kasikorn , in Bangkok and in Pattaya.

So it shouldn't be too hard to open another one in C.M.   But we all know how the staff will threat you different every time.

So which branch do you suggest ?  I am on a 1 year visa based on retirement.

I've never been treated badly by any Kasikorn bank.

You want a friendly bank......

a bank that will give you a loan......then leave you alone

thats it!!

The reality is they are all the same despite your reservations. if you have money to deposit they are friendly. I m a Kasikorn banker and I choose to go to the ones that are always empty, overstaffed and soooo happy to see you.

kasi on Chang klan road is very big, out of the way, open accounts for anyone and there is barely a 2 minute wait whenever i go in.

my next favourite is on the Hnag dong road almost next to the Robinsons same side. its on legs, back from the road and no one knows its there. its empty all the time, loads of staff who must be bored tishless. very convenient for getting your immigration statements at short notice.

My third favourite becasuse I have a business account is Nimmen road, small branch but open saturdays which is great; often busy though because its only the size of a washing machine but lots and lots of totty and always changing....because Farangs take them.

I just went to the Central Festival branch, first they wanted me to buy the expensive ATM card , but I had done my homework and asked for the cheapest card. When I showed them my cyberbanking and told them I will transfer from my other accounts they had to give up and no commission for them this time.

Still had to pay a 300 baht fee for the card and min. deposit was 500. But they helped me to add the account online so I'm happy.

It is so wonderful when somebody uses the good advice they get on TV and has a happy result.
