We had this sediment filter fitted last week and was advised it needs to be flushed through every two weeks  or just the first two weeks.

The lesson what to do turning off gate valves was passed to me via the wife but i fear she didnt five ne the full tale.

Here are the instructions in Thai so can anyone help decipher the procedure.20160930_152730.jpg20160930_152740.jpg

I appreciate its the DIY forum but on this occasion I think its easier for me to ask than to become embroiled in savvy computer know how.

but in all honesty I would  never ever trust anything translated by google...would you?

Would be easy in the Thai language forum(?) or an experienced user knows how,

Some fragments from reading known words.

First headline is for clean filter.

Second headline is for test filter.

Third headline is normal operation/water flow.

clean filter: close valve no. 1,4,5, open valve no. 2,3 ???? for 20 min ???

test filter:    open valve no. 1,4, close valve no. 2,3,5 (what the test is????)

normal:        open valve no. 1,5, close valve no. 2,3,4

Repeat every 10 to 15 days.

I can guarantee for the last one as your picture shows this.

Hope someone can crosscheck and fill the ??? (too lazy just now).

that 's ok - it was good practice for me to try the software again, anyway...

in the meantime, my character recognition was having trouble picking the characters out of your photo anyway - probably the slight out of focus, and the curvatures

Thanks for the translation KhunBENQ thats a great start for me.

I just wonder is there anything on that list that mentions the bleeding tap on the top of the tank. I can only assume you open it when filling the tank back up like bleeding a rad.

In basic terms you need to backflush the filter by reversing the flow of water from normal direction to push accumulated dirt from the outside of the filter elements although the numbers and sequencing did not really seem to show this, do you have a clearer picture of the inlet and outlet lines to and from the filter
