Internet provider to recommend?

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

The small building I live in uses 3bb as the Internet service provider, and there are some issues. The owner asked me if I know an ISP to recommend. Does anyone know of a good ISP that provides good Internet speed and service in Chiang Mai area?

I just ditched 3BB for AIS Fibre. 3BB was good years ago but I think has vastly oversold itself and the last few months were really bad. AIS Fibre is a huge improvement. It is also cheaper and I also get an additional discount for being an AIS customer.

We have both 3BB Fiber and AIS Fibre in our house.  Neither one is better than the other in our house.  They both work fine.  Sometimes the area makes a difference.

We had the ordinary 3BB, not the fibre. We thought about upgrading to 3BB fibre but AIS was cheaper.

The place I'm in, building of monthly rent provides the internet. They seem to have too much technical problems. The internet is divided to 5 routers, and something seems wrong, as some routers are faster than others.

At the end I get download speed of 7 mbps, and the guest house owner says we are on the fastest plan.

5 routers is a lot and would make a difference if it is connected to further routers with Wifi or LAN
