Minister of Interior Gen Anupong Paojinda remarked on the nation’s water situation, acknowledging that some areas have been hit by flood crises. He said all the areas have been declared disaster zones to expedite assistance.

Similarly, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives Gen Chatchai Sarikalya let on his ministry has proposed reparations for farmers affected by flooding to the Cabinet with emphasis on farms used as water retention areas. The ministry is requesting an additional 2 billion baht to be added to a regular fund earmarked for such situations.

So it's confirmed the gate is damaged then?

So they actually pay "reparations" for lost crops. Does this also applies for droughts or is only valid for flooding? I am sure as hell that my step family in Isaac could use this money when all the rice crop is lost due to droughts.

BTW subsidizing the rice is populistic, but these "reparations" due to flooding surely are not...

Ok. So there is no flooding but there is flooding and we will have to pay for those who have been flooded but mostly to farms that are used as water retention areas. So if an area is used for water retention can it be flooded? There is actually so little flooding that some areas will need to be declared disaster zones, or is that from too much flooding?  Also whether there is flooding or no flooding we don't want you people talking about it only the official party line is the accepted version of the truth. Seems to be a shedload of things your not allowed to talk about anymore. Junta 2.0 where the truth is what we say it is.
