Bangkok, Thailand – Bangkok Entrepreneurs has announced the details of the next conference ‘Thailand Mobile Summit 2016’ which will be held on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2016 at Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel, Bangkok. 

This all-day event will be the premier mobile event of the country, a true celebration of the Thailand Mobile Industry showcasing the latest developments in the region. “We refer to TMS 2016 as an ‘Everything Mobile’ event by bringing together industry experts, mobile enthusiasts, and top mobile players of the country on one platform to discuss all aspects of the mobile industry including challenges, trends and growth strategies” – said Bart, Managing Director, Bangkok Entrepreneurs.

2016 is certainly a pivotal year for Thailand telecom industry. With the arrival of 4G services in the country the industry has received a huge push bringing in a fresh wave of encouragement among online traders and investors. With the mobile market valued at 300 million baht annually, Thailand has over 110 million mobile subscribers and is expected to rise to 150 million by end of this year according to National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC). With emerging economies of the world and especially Southeast Asian markets going digital, Thailand`s telecom market presents a huge potential and looks more promising than ever by attracting huge investments from international investors like Alipay and WeChat. Despite such a positive outlook, Asean consumers still face challenges with respect to efficient modes of cashless payments and mobile money platforms.

TMS 2016 aims to bring together the tech enthusiasts, industry leaders and policy influencers on one platform to address these challenges and exchange innovative ideas and strategies to thrive in an ever-crowded marketplace.
