MacDonalds is now a real estate company. They make most of their money from leasing the land they own to their franchisees , as BritManToo has posted above. https://www.wallstreetsurvivor.com/mcdonalds-beyond-the-burger/ However, even fi they only sell burgers to attract the people for their real estate business, one has to look at the quality of those burgers. Burger King's bacon double cheeseburger is better than than the Big Mac, and there are now a myriad of competitors who are all miles better than MacD, Shakeshack comes to mind, but many others. Even RockMe Burger in Chiang Mai is lightyears ahead of McD in terms of quality. The 100% price increase didn't help either I guess. -

Wrist Surgery Specialist
2,200 for a consultation. That's more than Bumrungrad... 260,000 baht quote for removing some calcifications in wrist. ( I think blocking the nerve, so no general anaesthesia) requres 2 nights stay at the hospital....why!? I asked to be seen as a local, not international, ( if that made any difference. Seems excessively high cost. -

Trump gets an Deportation Set-back
I think all US asylum process laws need to be changed. They should be processed at the Embassy level, not at the border. I am tired of hearing liberals saying they should let anyone in for free!! For someone that went through the whole immigrating to the US process for a relative, filling out all of the forms, paying all of the money and waiting for approval anyone that thinks they can just skip the system and just come in should "go back to the end of the line.". No one should come in unless they can benefit our country. And, if you think the US is so bad, go to another country or, just stay home. -
