Is that "real" hardwood or just the nasty red-stained softwood that one sees in a lot of roadside places?

I will. I've been looking to get a simple wardrobe/cupboard made to cover one entire wall in my condo. Apart from ridiculous quotes (100,000+B) from some fancy and entirely customer-less places in Thepprasit Road I have so far been unable to find anything acceptable.

I just bought one of these from Lazada, around 1100 baht, to use to keep odds and ends for my computer and printer, and I'm wondering whether it might suit my purpose. OK, it isn't nice solid timber, but it is quite heavy, and has ball bearing runners, and will match the white bedhead and footboard. Actually, I was quite impressed with the quality.
