Hi,

I just made a post and the clock seems off - I assume the time displayed is the time in Thailand.

I am posting this at 10:34....

edit> ... but it shows up as posted at 12:34

Thanks,

Mike

Where are you based? Maybe it tried to localise the date/times to your system clock or something?

In your profile user's local time is shown as 2 hours ahead of Thailand - time.

Click on your own name to see/change the profile.

Check the time displayed on your screen at the bottom right-end. This is the system-time your computer follows, believe you have to change this, as it is neither Ubon- nor Singapore- time, the two places you mentioned.

Hi, thanks for the responses.

I am in Ubon. My computer is showing the correct time, and is set to the correct time zone (GMT +7, Bangkok).

But, as you say, in my profile the time shows two ours ahead of the time on my computer.

My computer 12:22 GMT+7

My clock on the wall 12:22 GMT+7

Time in my profile 14:22

So where does my user profile get my time zone from, and how can I change it ?

Thanks,

Mike

Under your profile select "Board Settings" At the top you set it to GMT+7 Bangkok.

Ah, thanks for that !

My time zone was set to Singapore, which is reasonable as I spend a lot of time there; that accounted for one hour.

But daylight saving time was also enabled, which added an extra hour.

All ok now thanks :o
