Late for 90-Day Report. What happens next?

Incredibly I am two weeks late for my 90-day report. 

 

It's the first time I ever did this... 

 

Is there a fine/ penalty or what happens next?

Just go to immigration to make your report. You will be asked to pay 2,000 baht fine.

You will be fined 2000 baht for late reporting.

Nothing more than that will be done other than them doing your new report.

they give you 7 days 'grace' im told but to be 14 days late is a bit silly

 

use a visa company and they will remind you and you don't have to go in person

Most places you can do on-line - for me that is not an option due no entry in last decade so do by mail.  There is no need to appear in person or hire an agent (the maid can file for you if you can not do online or by mail).   But if living near such an agent and cost is low it may be an convenient option.
