First of all, I am and never have been a hippie. I was born later. 30 years of using cannabis hasn`t done me any harm, on the contrary, I have had a successful career in the Hotel business, Hospitality sector, Education and Marketing. I am suffering from a rare disease for more than 20 years and I am fully supported by medical staff regarding the use of medical cannabis. Besides, it helps me to keep opioid medication on a very low scale. Otherwise, I would be hooked to these deadly opioid drugs. No wonder there is so many violent outbursts each day in Phuket and Pattaya: Has nothing to do with it. The trigger of these kind op people doing stupid stuff is excessive alcohol use, using additionally other drugs or did you see any violent outbursts at Woodstock? May you be blessed with your own wisdom. Opponents of cannabis have the right for their say. But please stay within the facts. -

Baan Nok is Thailand is really Baan Nok... Countryside in the UK is somewhat different, far more civilised. The two are not really comparable.... I know we all have our preferences... But, I for one could not live away from a major hub in Thailand, and in the UK I would not live near one ! -

So just tap water to drink then, some of it is not of course due to pollution as in SW water recently, there the bills have been over 1000 pounds a year for a long time. -
