UDON THANI: -- This hilarious footage shows two bickering grans trying to settle their differences - by having a fight on a pole across a lake.

The pair of pensioners had reportedly been nagging each other for years in a remote village in Udon Thani, Thailand.

Their pals finally persuaded them to sort out their petty squabbles by having a playful duel on a wooden beam over the water.

Another kind of bullying? "Asking" both to sort of fight it out for all to video?

This is brilliant, I suggest they start solving all little fights in Thailand like this. :clap2:

Would probably reduce the number of people being stabbed or shot over silly arguments quite a bit

Wouldn't it be great if countries settled their differences like this, with Presidents/PM's on the pole.

Would for sure make the average age of the leaders of states  come down quite a bit :cheesy:

What is is the odds the people in US would consider either of the candidates running for President now, if this was the case

Brilliant, finally some News worthy of  The Mirror.
It seems nothing to report on what is happening in the different parts of the UK (what was or is Great Britain, I don't remember, don't read the Sun either) .

It's called fun ...something that is surely missing in your life!

Nobody was forced....everyone having a laugh, especially the two fun old boys!

Fit guys for their age  to be able to slide on thin poles.

How many westerner pensioners could attempt this??

Fit guys? No read the article and be even more impressed, specially the old WOMAN in red shorts still going at it hanging under the pole :clap2::thumbsup:

From the article

Dozens of villagers cheered the squabbling grandmothers on as they carefully inched their way along the pole
