America is heading towards the final hours of campaigning for the 2016 presidential and congressional elections, and the candidates have embarked on a breathless last round of speeches and rallies to get their votes out. The Democrat’s Hillary Clinton seems to have consolidated a poll lead, but all bets are off as to their reliability.

“The choice in this election could not be clearer. It really is a choice between division or unity, between strong and steady leadership or a loose cannon, between an economy that works for everyone not just those at the top, and an economy that is set up and run for those at the top,” she said to a crowd in Pennsylvania.

 

A reported surge in Latino voters may have offset an observed smaller turnout of the African-American vote for Clinton, but their influence in swing states has caused consternation in the Republican camp, and that applies also for the many Congressional races and locally elected officials being contested. The Democrats have been in a Congressional minority since 2011.

From the graphic above, Hillary already has 273 EC votes which is enough. I wouldn't put Nevada in the red column yet. Early voting shows a nice lead for Hillary there. Also, Florida is looking good for Hillary in early voting results. The Latino vote is surging this year which will certainly help her in Nevada and Florida. If she wins Florida, it is done. Watch for FL results early and if it turns blue you will know who will be the next POTUS even before the rest of the votes are counted.

1. As for regime change you give her far too much credit. As a senator she did vote to give Pres. Bush the power to invade Iraq as did almost all other Senators except Obama. The overthrow of the Libyan dictator was well underway when she pushed to assist. She has even admitted as has Obama that their mistake was in not planning for the time after the overthrow.

2. She didn't personally deny security to the Libyan diplomatic mission and is not at fault in the death of the ambassador or the 3 security contractors. This was the subject of multiple investigations which cleared her of any wrong doing. Multiple factors led up to the deaths. Lack of security, budget cuts by the Republican Congress for security, and bad judgment by the ambassador. See Colin Powell's stolen emails which outlines this.

3. She isn't currently under investigation by the FBI. Cleared.

4. Intimidating the women who were raped by her husband? First of all, her husband has never been charged with rape. Second of all, she is only guilty of privately badmouthing women who slept with her husband. Normal reaction for a spouse.

5. Conspired with the DNC and media outlets to rig the primary elections. You've been listening to too many Trump speeches and not to the truth. There has never been even a hint of evidence that Hillary Clinton conspired with the DNC or the media for that matter.

6. Destroyed government documents while under congressional subpoena. Not true. True that she deleted her emails but not while under subpoena.

7. Giving hostile foreign governments favors for cash donations. No proof of pay to play has been found. Also, the governments you are referring to are allies of the United States. While Muslim monarchies which you may not like, they are US allies. Also, that money went to feed starving children, provide HIV testing and prevention, clean drinking water to those in third world countries etc. What has Trump's foundation done for the world?

Time to take a look at the USA in 2016 and not wishing for 1956 anymore.  The minority groups are now the majority.  The US is a wonderful mix of immigrants and that goes back generations.  The sooner you realise that the sooner you will be able to offer up a realistic political party for opposition.
